Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Yirifi Knowledge Base?
The Knowledge Base is a structured repository of 500+ compliance use cases, 1,000+ glossary terms, 43 feature categories, and a component database of controls and frameworks. It serves as the grounding layer for Yirifi's AI Agents — every Chat and agent response draws on Knowledge Base content for accuracy and citation.
How does the Knowledge Base feed AI Agents and Chat?
When a user asks a question in Chat or triggers an agent workflow, Yirifi's retrieval layer searches the Knowledge Base alongside the Regulatory Database for relevant content. Answers cite both sources so you know exactly what grounded each response.
How does the Use Case Builder integrate with AI Agents and the Knowledge Base?
Use cases draw on the Regulatory Database for obligation mapping, the Risk Analytics engine for risk scoring, and the Knowledge Base for policy templates and glossary context. The Business AI agent can draft policy sections, estimate compliance costs, and summarise regulatory requirements directly within a use case workflow.
What content is pre-loaded in the Knowledge Base?
At launch, the Knowledge Base contains Yirifi-curated content: compliance use-case templates, regulatory glossary terms cross-referenced to source definitions, control frameworks, and FAQ libraries drawn from 251+ jurisdictions. All pre-loaded content is maintained by Yirifi's research team and updated as regulations change.
Are Yirifi AI agents trained on proprietary customer data?
No. Customer data is kept logically segregated and is not used to train shared models. Each customer tenant benefits from continuously updated regulatory and risk intelligence without contributing its own documents to a shared corpus.
Can I add my firm's internal policies and SOPs to the Knowledge Base?
Yes. Enterprise customers can upload internal policies, standard operating procedures, compliance memos, and training materials. Uploaded content is indexed and made available to Yirifi's AI Agents within your tenant — so Chat and agents answer questions grounded in both Yirifi's regulatory content and your firm's own documentation.
Where is Yirifi's data hosted, and can we choose our region?
Yirifi supports data residency requirements including EU hosting options for organisations subject to GDPR and local data sovereignty rules. Specific regional availability is confirmed during the commercial discussion — speak to our team.
Who owns our data, and can we export it when we leave?
Your data remains your property at all times. Yirifi provides full data export in standard formats on request, and all customer data is deleted from Yirifi infrastructure within 30 days of contract end unless retention is required by law.
